Gallery Walk fills Downtown Lafayette with art and culture

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—Lots of Art and Culture filled Downtown Lafayette this evening during the 4th annual Gallery Walk.  Artists showcased their work in 11 facilities through out downtown.

This is an event that the Tippecanoe Arts Federation puts on with live music and drinks as people view art. It was also local artist Sloan Marshall‘s first time as the featured artist at Bindery Artist Studios.

Marshall says it feels great to showcase their hard work during a pandemic.

“It means everything. I have been working towards this for months,” said Marshall. “A few months ago I didn’t even know if this night would happen. So just the fact that it’s happening is everything to me.”

Another Gallery Walk is scheduled later this year on September 18th.
